The garden of Cumberland House is available to hire for all manner of outdoor events. Whether it’s cinema screenings under the stars, garden parties, or something else entirely, our beautiful walled garden can provide the ideal solution.
The garden is set in a quieter area of the seafront, which lends itself to a variety of events. However, a site visit is recommended to see if the venue is suitable for your requirements as there are assorted flower beds of which you would need to be mindful.
The site is available seven days a week, between 9am to 10pm. Please note that depending on the nature of your event the end time may need to be earlier due to the proximity to local residents.
Capacity is 250 people with no infrastructure. The exact capacity of your event will be dependent upon the amount of infrastructure you install on site to run the event. We are happy to advise on this based on previous events.
Please note that all water and electricity provision will need to be supplied by the event organiser.
Local or national charities can hire the garden for events at prices ranging from £97 to £194 (plus a £300 refundable damage deposit). Please enquire for costs of commercial events.
